Tour of Delhi
Well I got my wish to have a city tour in a tuktuk… Our driver had trouble getting diesel so we jumped in a tuk tuk with our tour guide and headed off to Old Delhi. (pictures of me driving the tuk tuk to come...)
We checked out the Red Fort. (not to be confused with the Agra Red Fort…same Mogual King built both) We then switched to manual powered rickshaw and toured so many markets that I lost track…spice, flower, sari, etc… But riding through the tiny alleyways was entertainment enough…

Next was our Temple tour…First to the largest Mosque but it was Friday so we had to see it from the doorway. Then onto the Sikh Temple. After removing our shoes and covering our heads, we had to buy sweets to donate to enter. Lalit (our tour guide) took us through all the rituals as we passed through but the best was our tour of the kitchen. They have lots of volunteers of all faiths who come every day and work in the kitchen. They serve over 20,000 hungry people a day. Pretty amazing to see.
One of the highlights of the tour was seeing was visiting where Ghandi last lived...and where he was assisinated on his way to prayers.

Time to get a new lululemon jacket. The Pink jacket is in every picture in every country. Maybe I will buy you one for your birthday. Stay safe.
