2008 has been a crazy year…at best
A shaky economy has put us to the test.
Everyone is trying to tighten their belt,
To make do in this world…we’ve been dealt.

But the funny thing, about these trying times,
As we struggle to save, our nickels and dimes.
Is that donations to charities are on the rise,
People are hearing… their neighbour’s cries.

The world as we know it, is shrinking,
There’s no time to act without thinking…
It’s no longer just about you and me,
As we slowly are becoming, a global family.
